RCDI Changes Name (January 2005) - RCDI’s Board of Directors voted to change its name to reflect its purpose. Our new name is B&O Trail Association Incorporated (BOTA). The board feels that Rail Corridor Development Inc. does not adequately describe who we are, especially when we are listed by name only on fundraising materials. It could just as easily be a group dedicated to a railroad. A name was needed that inherently characterizes the organization. Nothing else changed. We are continuing to work to purchase and construct the B&O Trail. Contributions should be made out to Rail Corridor Development Inc. or RCDI until our name is officially changed in the records of the Secretary of State, IRS and the bank. We will notify you in our next TRAILTalk newsletter when our name is officially changed.
